Abstract
Peripheral cholinergic side effects of donepezil are mild and transient. We report three cases with urinary incontinenceas as an adverse effect of the donepezil. Urinary incontinence associated with cholinesterase inhibitor is not uncommon as previously thought. Clinicians should be alert to the possibility of urinary incontinence as an adverse effect of donepezil, especially in the patient with Alzheimer disease and cerebrovascular disease.
